The Narromine aerodrome provides the perfect launching pad for some of the best gliding in the world. Many overseas pilots visit regularly to take advantage of the ideal conditions.
There are two gliding facilities at Narromine. Each Sunday night the Narromine Gliding Club has a BBQ open to all. It is a great opportunity for pilots to get together.

ULTRALIGHT TRAINING
For the flying enthusiast wanting to learn to fly ultra lights, there are two training establishments located at Narromine. They are able to cater for all your professional flight training needs.
There is Norm's Flight Training. Norm Turner is a Chief Flying Instructor, Pilot examiner and level 2 maintenance authority. Norm can also pickup and deliver aircraft Australia wide.
